Dorothy Holmes

Dorothy was born in 1766 in North Carolina.¹ Dorothy's father was Gabriel Holmes and her mother was Mary Cason. Her paternal grandparents were John Holmes and Tamar Bird. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Owen, Lewis, Hardy, Gabriel, Ann and Penelope. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
