Martha M. Hicks

Martha M. was born on July 30th, 1839 in Tennessee.¹   Martha M.'s father was Stephen Hicks and her mother was Hannah Grey.  Her paternal grandparents were Stephen Hicks and Elizabeth Cox. She had five brothers and four sisters, named William, Greenbury Anderson, Andrew E., Alfred, Stephen Bright, Lucinda, Betsy A., Hannah and Mary.  She was the third youngest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 4 on November 23rd, 1843 in Tennessee.¹
