Pearl was born on October 2nd, 1897 in ,Effingham, Illinois.1 Pearl's father was Joseph Sherman Goff and her mother was Jessie Rachel Tipsword. Her paternal grandparents were William Goff and Sarah Or Rhoda Meadows; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Tipsword and Rosannah Doty. She had a brother and two sisters, named Henry Thomas, Lavada Ann and Edna. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died in ,,Illinois.1 -
