Samuel Goad

Samuel was born in October 1882 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Samuel's father was Nathan Dillard Goad and his mother was Elizabeth Hamilton.  His paternal grandparents were Peter Goad and Marinda. He had three brothers and nine sisters, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named Wallace, John Curtis, Thomas, Eva, Nancy A., Sarah J., Alice, Ella, Steney, May, Sarah, Burly, Sulacial and Goad.  He was the seventh oldest of the fifteen children.
