Burly Goad

Burly was born in 1898 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Burly's father was Nathan Dillard Goad and her mother was Elizabeth Hamilton.  Her paternal grandparents were Peter Goad and Marinda. She had four brothers and eight sisters, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named Samuel, Wallace, John Curtis, Thomas, Eva, Nancy A., Sarah J., Alice, Ella, Steney, May, Sarah, Sulacial and Goad.  She was the second youngest of the fifteen children.  She died at the age of 59 in 1957.¹
