Laura Elkins

Laura was born in 1865 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ Laura's father was Absalom Elkins and her mother was Rebecca Bolin. Her paternal grandparents were George Elkins and Dicey. She had six brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Harvey, George, Henry, Samuel, Nancy, Margaret and Mollie. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
