George Elkins

George was born in 1866 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ George's father was Absalom Elkins and his mother was Rebecca Bolin. His paternal grandparents were George Elkins and Dicey. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William, John, Harvey, Henry, Samuel, Nancy, Laura, Margaret and Mollie. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.
