John Wesley Dillow

John Wesley was born in 1885 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹ John Wesley's father was Rufus Worley Dillow and his mother was Eliza Ann Dickson. His maternal grandparents were William Samuel Dickson and Sarah Brown. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named William Henry, Thomas Alfred, Samuel Bruce, Charles Alvin, Walter Dewey, Joseph Lee, Theodore Roosevelt, Dora Elizabeth, Nannie Elvira, Ollie Mae and Mary Eliza. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 79 in 1964.¹
