William Howard Dickson

William Howard was born in 1846 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   William Howard's father was John Dickson and his mother was Elizabeth T. Lizenby.  His paternal grandparents were William Howard Dickson and Mary Shipley. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Charles Lisenby, James Martin, Richard L., George Washington, Mary Elizabeth and Susan Bell.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 22 in 1868.¹
