George Washington Dickson

George Washington was born on April 20th, 1854 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   George Washington's father was John Dickson and his mother was Elizabeth T. Lizenby.  His paternal grandparents were William Howard Dickson and Mary Shipley. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William Howard, Charles Lisenby, James Martin, Richard L., Mary Elizabeth and Susan Bell.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 55 on February 19th, 1910.¹
