W. Lewford was born on September 20th, 1895.1 W. Lewford's father was William Jasper Combest and his mother was Julie Roy. His paternal grandparents were Samuel D. Combest and Lucy Ann Roy; his maternal grandparents were Riley Roy and Susannah Collins. He had three brothers named Elmer R., Otha E. and Beecher. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 77 on September 5th, 1973 in Pulaski County, Ky (Cedar Point Cemetery).1 -
