Nancy Ann Combest 
Nancy Ann was born on June 7th, 1836 in Casey County, Kentucky.1 Nancy Ann's father was Austin Eden Combest and her mother was Margaret Combest. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel D. Combest and Sarah Dick. She had two brothers named William Riley and James Marion. She was the youngest of the three children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William Frank, Shelby Stone, John Alfred Cauell, Sarah Frances, Mary Margaret and Julia Adaline. She died at the age of 74 on January 18th, 1911 in Fowler, Colorado.1 General Notes

Death certificate of Nancy Ann on file in the State of Colorado lists faterh as Aaron Combest; mother's name is left blank. Lois Gemmill, daughter of Eva Ann Hall Gemmill/Sarah Robers Hall/Nancy Ann Combest Roberts, drew up a family tree with the help of her grandmother, Sarah Roberts Hall. Sarah Roberts Hall gave Esthen Aaron Combest as Nancy Ann Combest Robert's father and her mother as Margaret but said she could not remember her other name. She said after Aaron died his widow married a man named Bowmer. She, Sarah Roberts Hall, thought a lot of her step-grandfather Bowmer. Sarah Roberts Hall stated that Nancy, her mother, also had a brother who was a Combest. His name was told to Lois Gemmill and her sister many times but never written down and could not be recalled.
