Gilla Combest 
Gilla was born in 1845 in Missouri.1 Gilla's father was William Combest and her mother was Gilla Jasper. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel D. Combest and Sarah Dick; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Jasper and <Unknown>. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Wyatt, Andrew Jackson, John, William, Samuel Wiley, Sarah, Elizabeth, Harriet and Mary Ann. She was the youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 58 in 1903 in St Joseph, Missouri (buried Mt. Mora Cemetery).1 -
