George Allen Combest 
George Allen was born on December 30th, 1906 in Jonesville, Owen County, Kentucky.1 George Allen's father was John Dowell Combest and his mother was Carrie Bright Harmon. His paternal grandparents were James Marion Combest and George Ann Sloan; his maternal grandparents were Henry Elisha Harmon and Eliza Washington Taylor. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John Dowell, Henry Harmon, Flora Dell, Carrie Tina, Dorothy Lewis and Emma Washington. He died at the age of 66 on August 14th, 1973.1 -
