Mary Ann Clay

Mary Ann was born on March 10th, 1770 in ,Cumberland, Virginia.¹   Mary Ann's father was Henry Clay and her mother was Rachel Povall. She had three brothers and eight sisters, named John, Samuel, Henry, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Tabitha, Rachel, Sarah Or Sallie, Henrietta, Mattie and Lettitia Or Lettie.  She was the fifth youngest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 75 in 1845.¹
