Lettitia Or Lettie Clay

Lettitia Or Lettie was born on October 5th, 1782 in ,Cumberland, Virginia.¹   Lettitia Or Lettie's father was Henry Clay and her mother was Rachel Povall. She had three brothers and eight sisters, named John, Samuel, Henry, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Tabitha, Rachel, Sarah Or Sallie, Mary Ann, Henrietta and Mattie.  She was the youngest of the twelve children.
