Lettitia Clay

Lettitia was born on December 10th, 1792 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.¹ Lettitia's father was Henry Clay and her mother was Margaret Helm. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Clay and Rachel Povall. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Henry, John, Joseph Helm, Samuel H., Francis Povall, Matthew Martin, Sarah Or Sallie, Elizabeth Payne, Mary Ann and Henrietta. She was the oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 64 on October 9th, 1857 in ,,Kentucky.¹
