John Cheatham

John was born in 1842 in ,Hawkins, TN.¹   John's father was John A. Cheatham and his mother was Martha Or Patsy. He had four brothers and four sisters, named James C., Andrew, William, Richard, Elizabeth, Sarah F., Mary E. and Matilda A..  He was the second oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named William H., Martha A., Minnie and Florence.
