Roena E. Brown

Roena E. was born in 1859 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   Roena E.'s father was George Washington Brown and her mother was Sarah Jackson.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Brown and Mary Cox. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Lorenzo Dow, Christina E., Eliza L. and Amanda L..  She was the second oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother named George Washington Shipley.
