Lorenzo Dow Brown

Lorenzo Dow was born in 1864 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   Lorenzo Dow's father was George Washington Brown and his mother was Sarah Jackson.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Brown and Mary Cox. He had a brother and four sisters, named Thomas, Roena E., Christina E., Eliza L. and Amanda L..  He was the third youngest of the six children. He had a half-brother named George Washington Shipley.
