Martha Or Patty Brantley

Martha Or Patty was born about 1756 in Halifax, NC.¹   Martha Or Patty's father was Edward Brantley and her mother was Martha Pitman.  Her paternal grandparents were James Brantley and Ruth; her maternal grandfather was Pitman. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Lewis, William, Edward, Robert, Benjamin, James, Mary and Anna.  She was the second youngest of the nine children.
