Nancy Ann Boyd 
Nancy Ann was born in 1858 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.1 Nancy Ann's father was James A. Boyd and her mother was Elizabeth Paxton. Her paternal grandparents were William Boyd and Elizabeth Douglas. She had three brothers and five sisters, named John Wilder, David Paxton, Elbert S., Rachel, Margaret, Virginia A., Sarah Jane and Elizabeth. She was the second youngest of the nine children.
