James Fain Beaman 
James Fain was born on December 6th, 1847 in ,Owen, Indiana.1 James Fain's father was James Beaman and his mother was Lydia Helm. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Beaman and Sarah Langdon; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Helm and Rachel Beaman. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Calvin, William, George White, Samuel Simpson, Jacob Gibson, Elihu, John Tipton, Rachel, Sarah and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the eleven children.-
