Peter was born on January 26th, 1804 in ,Rockingham, Virginia.1 Peter's father was John Beal and his mother was Eve Or Elizabeth Eberhardt. His paternal grandparents were John Nicholas Beal and Maria Elizabeth Kuefer. He had six brothers and five sisters, named John, George, Martin, Jacob, Frederick, David, Elizabeth, Katherine, Maria, Anna and Margaret Or Peggy. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.-
