Catherine Amos 
Catherine was born in 1802 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.1 Catherine's father was Thomas Amos and her mother was Catherine Devore. Her paternal grandparents were Nicholas Day Amos and Christiana Ditto. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Nicholas, Mordecai, John Devore, Abraham Ditto, William Cook, Elizabeth, Harriet, Christiana and Ann. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children.-
