DAVID I "THE SAINT",  KING OF  was born about 1080 in Scotland.  DAVID I "THE SAINT",  KING OF 's father was MALCOLM III CANMORE, KING OF  Scotland and his mother was ST. MARGARET AETHELING,  QUEEN OF  Scotland.  His paternal grandparents were DUNCAN I "The Gracious" MacCRINAN, KING OF  SCOTLAND and Sybil Biornsson,  of  Northumbria ; his maternal grandparents were Edward "The Exile", Prince of Aetheling  and Agatha,  of  Hungary .  He was an only child.  He died on May 24th, 1153 in Carlisle, Cumberland, England .
