Her paternal grandparents were Moses JR Cavett and Agnes Nancy Meetch; her maternal grandfather was UNKNOWN Millsap. She had four brothers and a sister, and also four siblings of unknown gender, named Moses, Thomas, Alexander, William White, Polly, Jane, Elizabeth , Ann and Rutha.
