Matilda Spears

Matilda was born in 1826 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  Matilda's father was Samuel Spears and her mother was Rebecca Smith.  Her paternal grandmother was Rosina Spears. She had two brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John, William, Spears, Matilda, Spears and Spears.  She was the youngest of the seven children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named David, Lazarus, Jesse, William, Phereba, Nancy Ann and Lucy.  She died at the age of 54 in 1880.
