William Robertson Sims 
William Robertson was born on November 30th, 1788 in Patrick Co., VA. William Robertson's father was Ignatius M. Sims and his mother was Sabrina Or Sabrah Hobart. His paternal grandparents were Francis Semmes and Lucretia Chapman; his maternal grandparents were Moses Hobart and Patience Bateman. He had a brother named John Dabney. He was the younger of the two children. He had three half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Marmaduke Nance, Leo Dabney, Ignatius Andrew Jackson, Mary, Jancie, Anna, Eleanor, Margaret, Exoney, Margaret and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 55 on January 20th, 1844.-
