Margaret Sims 
Margaret was born in 1809 in Patrick Co., VA. Margaret's father was Ignatius M. Sims and her mother was Jane Or Janet Nance. Her paternal grandparents were Francis Semmes and Lucretia Chapman; her maternal grandparents were John Nance and Mary. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Marmaduke Nance, Leo Dabney, Ignatius Andrew Jackson, Mary, Jancie, Anna, Eleanor, Margaret, Exoney and Elizabeth. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She had two half-brothers named John Dabney and William Robertson. She died at the age of 38 in 1847.-
