Margaret Simmons

Margaret was born on December 9th, 1792 in , Greenbrier, Virginia.  Margaret's father was Christian Simon Or Simmons and her mother was Catherine Amend Or Ammons.  Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Simon and Margaret. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Jacob, Samuel, George, Elizabeth, Susannah Catherine, Mary, Martha and Anna.  She was the oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 72 on March 6th, 1865 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.
