Jacob Simmons

Jacob was born in 1836 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  Jacob's father was George Simmons and his mother was Catherine Loudermilch.  His paternal grandparents were Christian Simon Or Simmons and Catherine Amend Or Ammons; his maternal grandfather was Loudermilch. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Hiram, Abraham, Samuel, George, Susannah, Elizabeth, Delilah, Mary, Martha E. and Ellen.  He was the third oldest of the eleven children.
