Isham Nance 
Isham was born in 1747 in , Brunswick, Virginia. Isham's father was William Nance and his mother was Ann Eppes. His paternal grandparents were John Nance and Jane; his maternal grandparents were Llewelyn Eppes and Angelica Bray. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Reuben, John, Sarah, Mary, Tabitha and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.-
