Mariah I. Monroe 
Mariah I. was born in 1855 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Mariah I.'s father was Calvin W. Monroe and her mother was Mariah Jane Ann Larkin. Her paternal grandparents were Asa Monroe and Sarah. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William Levi, John Franklin, James C., Nancy, Sarah M. and Eliza E.. She was the third youngest of the seven children.
