John Franklin Monroe

John Franklin was born on January 15th, 1850 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  John Franklin's father was Calvin W. Monroe and his mother was Mariah Jane Ann Larkin.  His paternal grandparents were Asa Monroe and Sarah. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William Levi, James C., Nancy, Sarah M., Mariah I. and Eliza E..  He was the third oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 60 on February 25th, 1910.
