Matthias Louderback 
Matthias was born in 1749 in Frederick County, Virginia. Matthias' father was Johan David Lauterbach and his mother was Maria Elizabetha Klein. His paternal grandparents were Johannes Ludwig Lauterbach and Anna Margrethe Gratzmann; his maternal grandparents were Johann Georg Klein and Maria Margrethe Schappert. He had five brothers and six sisters, named David, John, Joseph, Daniel, Abraham, Christine, Susannah, Barbara, Sarah, Eve and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 58 in 1807 in , Shenandoah, Virginia.-
