Ann was born about 1806 in Page County, Virginia. Ann's father was David Louderback and her mother was Susanna L.. Her paternal grandparents were Matthias Louderback and Mary Magdalena Brentz. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin, David, Emanuel, Harry, John L., Martin, Rebecca and Barbara. She was the second oldest of the nine children.-
