Benjamin Kite 
Benjamin was born in 1796 in Rockingham County, Virginia. Benjamin's father was Adam Kite and his mother was Elizabeth Runkle. His paternal grandparents were William Kite and Catharine Smith; his maternal grandparents were Lewis Runkle and Catharine. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Emanuel, William, George W., David, Michael, Mary, Sarah, Margaret and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 58 on August 26th, 1854.-
