John W. Holt

John W. was born in 1820 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.  John W.'s father was James Holt and his mother was Catherine Shipley. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Jacob, James, George R., Elizabeth, Sarah and Mary C..  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 78 in 1898.
