George R. Holt

George R. was born in 1829 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.  George R.'s father was James Holt and his mother was Catherine Shipley. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Jacob, John W., James, Elizabeth, Sarah and Mary C..  He was the third youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 36 in 1865.
