Sarah Rebecca Hicks

Sarah Rebecca was born in 1853 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.  Sarah Rebecca's father was Nathaniel R. Hicks and her mother was Jannett Gregg.  Her paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Hicks and Mary Smith; her maternal grandparents were Abraham Gregg and Jannette Allison. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Abraham, Edward, Mary Jane, Martha, Rachel Katherine, Margaret Adeline and Julie Annis.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.
