Abraham Hicks

Abraham was born in 1851 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.  Abraham's father was Nathaniel R. Hicks and his mother was Jannett Gregg.  His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Hicks and Mary Smith; his maternal grandparents were Abraham Gregg and Jannette Allison. He had a brother and six sisters, named Edward, Mary Jane, Sarah Rebecca, Martha, Rachel Katherine, Margaret Adeline and Julie Annis.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.
