Mary Or Polly Dyer

Mary Or Polly was born on August 15th, 1837 in , Of Hawkins, Tennessee.  Mary Or Polly's father was John Robert Dyer and her mother was Barsheba Thorp.  Her paternal grandparents were John Robert Dyer and Sarah Taylor; her maternal grandfather was John Lewis Thorpe. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Augustus W., William T., Richard Fain, Lewis, Charles Mckinney, John James, Sarah Jane, Louisa Jane, Elizabeth Frances and Nancy Melissa.  She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 65 on January 25th, 1903 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  She was buried in Tarpine Valley, Hawkins, Tennessee.
