John James Dyer 
John James was born on April 4th, 1851 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. John James' father was John Robert Dyer and his mother was Barsheba Thorp. His paternal grandparents were John Robert Dyer and Sarah Taylor; his maternal grandfather was John Lewis Thorpe. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Augustus W., William T., Richard Fain, Lewis, Charles Mckinney, Sarah Jane, Mary Or Polly, Louisa Jane, Elizabeth Frances and Nancy Melissa. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 44 on November 22nd, 1895 in Sanford, Conejos, California.-
