Samuel Isaac was born on September 23rd, 1872 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Samuel Isaac's father was George Washington Droke and his mother was Christina Morton. His paternal grandparents were John Droke and Isabel Wolford. He had seven brothers and a sister, named William James, John Martin, Marshal Elkanah, Joseph Benjamin, David Miller, Thomas Bruce, Charles Wolford and Susan Eleanor. He was the third oldest of the nine children.-
