William Cope

William was born in 1812 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  William's father was William Cope and his mother was Nancy.  His paternal grandfather was Cope. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Jesse, Andrew, John, James, Wiley, Madison, Cope, Margaret, Cope and Nancy.  He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.
