John Cope

John was born in 1806 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  John's father was William Cope and his mother was Nancy.  His paternal grandfather was Cope. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Jesse, Andrew, James, William, Wiley, Madison, Cope, Margaret, Cope and Nancy.  He was the third oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 54 in 1860.
