James Cope

James was born in 1810 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  James' father was William Cope and his mother was Nancy.  His paternal grandfather was Cope. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Jesse, Andrew, John, William, Wiley, Madison, Cope, Margaret, Cope and Nancy.  He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 55 in 1865 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.
