William Tolbert Cato 
William Tolbert was born in 1878 in Indiana. William Tolbert's father was William Riley Cato and his mother was Alcey Shoemaker. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Cato and Nancy Taylor. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Isaac Thomas, Grover Cleveland, Rosco, Mary Jane, Rhoda Elizabeth, Dabia Ann, Isabell and Emma Stella. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.-
