Newton Thompson Beal 
Newton Thompson was born on October 10th, 1841 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee. Newton Thompson's father was Elias Beal and his mother was Nancy E. Boothe. His paternal grandparents were John Beal and Mary Elizabeth Bertram; his maternal grandfather was Booth. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Joseph Johnson, James Hamilton, Martha Ellen, Mary Elizabeth and Capitola Leonora. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 48 on March 13th, 1890.-
